Solitary Pleasures – Fortner Anderson

I met Fortner in Montreal back in 1984 or 85, and soon after we collaborated on a memorable performance poetry series in the intimate and trippy little club known as La Folie du Large. I’ve been lucky enough to count him as a pal ever since. Fortner is one of the few poets who invests equal energy in the written, spoken and electronic word, having consistently been an innovator in each of these areas of poetic practice.
